Avalanche and Aethir to Support AI Projects with $100M Funding

The Avalanche Foundation has officially partnered with Aethir to support AI-driven projects building on the Avalanche network.

Through this collaboration, eligible projects in the Avalanche Foundation’s InfraBUIDL(AI) program will gain access to Aethir’s $100M Ecosystem Fund. This fund will provide key resources, including computational power and financial grants, to help projects scale and develop decentralised AI solutions.

In addition, Aethir’s involvement in the InfraBUIDL(AI) Program will strengthen the review process for funding decisions, ensuring that high-potential projects are identified and supported.

What is Avalanche’s InfraBUIDL(AI) Program?

The InfraBUIDL(AI) program, launched by the Avalanche Foundation, is designed to support AI-driven projects that integrate with Avalanche’s decentralised infrastructure. The program provides up to $15 million in direct funding to selected projects, aiming to accelerate the development of decentralised AI applications. Additionally, retroactive grants are available to projects that demonstrate progress after initial funding.

The program includes a unique feature in the form of Alfred, an AI-powered member of the review committee. Alfred assists in evaluating project proposals by analyzing documentation and generating insights that help the committee make informed decisions.

The InfraBUIDL(AI) program is one of several initiatives designed to foster innovation within the Avalanche ecosystem, specifically focusing on the integration of AI technologies.

What does this partnership mean?

Under this new partnership, AI projects approved through the Avalanche Foundation’s InfraBUIDL(AI) program will gain fast-tracked entry into Aethir’s Ecosystem Fund. This initiative will offer these projects access to essential cloud infrastructure, making it easier for them to scale and enhance their web3-powered AI solutions.

Moreover, the partnership will provide these projects with compute grants, ensuring that developers have the resources they need to bring their innovative ideas to life. Aethir will also join the InfraBUIDL(AI) Program’s selection committee, contributing its expertise in the evaluation process and helping to choose which projects should receive funding.

“Aethir’s integration of Avalanche into its $100M ecosystem fund marks a major milestone for the Foundation,” said Aytunç Yildizli, CEO of the Avalanche Foundation. “This is our first major partnership involving third-party grant activity, and Aethir’s $100M in computing power will accelerate AI and gaming projects on Avalanche.”
